By placing an order, requesting a quotation, or using our website, the customer (“you”) agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. No variations are valid unless confirmed in writing by Badges for Africa.

2. Quotations & Orders

• All quotes are valid for 30 days, unless otherwise stated.
• Orders are only processed once full payment or valid proof of payment is received.
• Badges for Africa may refuse or cancel an order if it conflicts with applicable laws or internal policies.
• Large or custom orders may require extended lead times.

3. Product Use & Risk

• All products are used at the customer’s own risk. Badges for Africa is not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from use of its products.
• Responsibility for goods transfers to the customer once they leave our premises or are handed to the courier.
• The customer must inspect all goods on delivery and report any issues within 5 days in writing.

4. Delivery Policy

• Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed.
• Delivery begins once payment is confirmed.
• Partial deliveries may occur if stock is limited; outstanding items will be back-ordered.
• Badges for Africa is not liable for delays caused by couriers or external factors.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations before dispatch will incur a 30% administration fee.
• If a product is unavailable or doesn’t meet quality standards, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
• Defective items must be reported within 5 days and returned for inspection. If validated, we will replace or refund them.

6. Guarantee

• A 1-year guarantee applies to all products (excluding consumables like pins and magnets).
• This does not apply if products are damaged due to misuse, poor handling, or unsuitable storage.
• Valid claims will result in a replacement or full refund, at our discretion.

7. Returns

• Returns will only be accepted if:
  • Reported within 5 days
  • Approved in writing
  • Accompanied by original packaging and order/invoice number
• Returns not meeting these criteria may be declined.

8. Intellectual Property

• All content, logos, artwork, ordering systems, and product designs are the property of Badges for Africa or its suppliers.
• No part of our website, catalogue, or products may be copied, used, or reproduced without prior written consent.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

• Customer details are kept confidential and only shared with delivery providers where necessary.
• Badges for Africa is not responsible for security breaches on the user’s own devices.

10. Electronic Communication

• By interacting with us electronically (via website, email, or SMS), you consent to receiving all communication in digital format and accept these as legally valid.

11. Limitation of Liability

• We provide products and services on an “as is” basis and cannot guarantee accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted access to our website or content.
• Our liability for direct losses is limited to the value of the goods purchased.
• We are not liable for indirect losses, business interruption, or third-party damages.

12. Force Majeure

13. Payment Terms

• Accepted payment methods: EFT or bank deposit (cash deposits will incur an additional R60 fee)
• Proof of EFT/deposit must include your order number as reference.
• Orders are only processed upon receipt of payment confirmation.
• Fraudulent transactions will be reported to the authorities.

14. Website Use

• Users may browse the website without providing personal information.
• We may collect anonymous usage data (e.g., IP address) to improve the site.

15. Jurisdiction

• These Terms are governed by South African law.
